Ard Al-Ganatain Company for pharmaceuticals and Medical appliances is one of the most leading companies operating in the field of health care in Yemen. Indeed, it is a pioneering company in the field of selling and distributing pharmaceuticals and medical appliances, and other medical supplies.
Ard Al-Ganatain Company was established in 1987 in Yemen by its president and owner: Mr.Abdo Ali Al-Awdi and now represents nearly 23 international companies in the field of pharmaceutical and medical appliances.
The Company witnessed considerable growth and expansion of its works along with progress which reflected positively on the company's overall activities by virtue of the methodologies adopted by its management in accordance with a vision aimed at improving the Company's general performance in line with a constitutional structure that will achieve professional distinction on the basis of greater compliance with professional principles and ethics. This has helped the company since 2009 in attaining the first position among pharmaceuticals-importing companies. Ard Al-Ganatain Company now holds (13.4%) of the pharmaceutical market share in Yemen and at the level of the Republic of Yemen, thereby attaining the position and fame which led to classifying the Company as one of the best companies in Yemen.

Our Affiliates
Ard Al-Ganatain expanded its business vertically and horizontally, necessitating diversification of its activities in various fields. One of its expansions is Nashwan Pharma. A pharmaceutical sector that represents many international pharmaceutical companies.
The company expanded its business to enter the retail business by opening a series of 10 pharmacies in the capital Sana'a ( Al-Yemen Al-Saeed Pharmacies) that provide consumers with pharmaceutical products.
Ard Al-Ganatain also expanded its business to include sectors other than the pharmaceutical area. One of these expansions was the establishment of Al-Yemen Al-Saeed for Trade & Agencies, the electricity sector of the parent company.
Our Achievement
Ard Al-Ganatain is a leading company in terms of size of imports and distribution network. It usually occupies a permanent position among the top 10 importers in Yemen. It maintains steady growth and developed into a leading private-sector pharmaceutical importing organization in the Republic of Yemen. It is ranked number one among the top ten Pharmaceutical importers in Yemen for nine years from 2008 until 2016 and ranked number two from 2017 to 2020. In 2022 we returned to occupy number one in the ranking despite the bad economical situation in Yemen due to the war and the sanctions.
